About the role

The company is a deep-tech company operating at the frontier of quantum-driven computing and advanced optimisation systems, delivering real-world applications of quantum technologies through a scalable cloud-based platform.

They are now expanding their engineering team and are looking for a Quantum Applications Developer to help build the software layer that turns quantum-driven solutions into production-ready applications used by enterprise clients across multiple industries.

This is a highly hands-on engineering role, focused on bridging the gap between advanced quantum computation and real-world software systems.

What you will do

In this role, you will:

• Build and maintain REST APIs exposing Dynex quantum pipelines (Flask, FastAPI)

• Develop hybrid classical-quantum data pipelines for multi-source data ingestion

• Implement JWT-secured services, batch job orchestration, and async task queues

• Create client-facing dashboards and data visualization layers (Plotly, Dash, Streamlit)

• Integrate with external data providers, scientific APIs, and cloud storage systems

• Write clean, convention-strict Python following team coding standards and conventions

• Package and deploy quantum solutions as containerized microservices (Docker)

• Support automated reporting pipelines for professional client deliverables (PDF, PPTX)

Core technical skills

• Strong Python (3.10+)

• FastAPI or Flask

• REST API design 

• Docker and containerised deployments

• PostgreSQL or SQLite

• Pandas / NumPy

• Async Python programming

• Git / GitHub

• Linux / Bash

• JWT authentication and secure service design

• Data formats such as JSON / Parquet

• Plotly / Dash / Streamlit (or similar visualisation tools)
